Welcome
So, what makes Bowerock different?
I came into the financial services industry from a very different direction to most advisers. I was a graduate research scientist and I knew next to nothing about financial planning; I initially joined Bowerock because they needed help setting up computer and administrative systems and I anticipated that my time here would be very short. That was in early 1998 and, as they say, the rest is history.
It is not an interest in money that has made me stay in this industry; it is an interest in people. My motivation is the real buzz that I get from helping a wide range of people to understand the myriad of financial choices available to them and make the right decisions according to their needs. My aim is to give the best advice I can and help my clients make informed decisions about their finances. This applies equally whether it's a young couple faced with the confusing world of buying their first house, a 65-year old making decisions about how to take benefits from their pensions, or professional trustees looking for advice on a large investment portfolio. I'm not driven by process or sales and I have no targets to meet.
Of course, I do need to earn a living, but I know that the best way to continue to build my business is to provide a trustworthy, reliable and helpful service that my clients value.
